New in v2.1: PDDayCycle - a day/night cycle in one node. It moves the sun (and moon) light and runs any of the 40 skies through 24 hours, or blends your own day / dusk / night images. shift_to(18.0, 3.0) glides to any hour; signals tell your game when dawn, day, dusk and night begin.
Not AI-generated images: every sky is calculated from code, pixel by pixel from 3D directions, so the panoramas are seamless left to right with no pinching at the top.
PD Toon Skies gives your game the look of an anime background: flat cel clouds with 2-3 hard-edged tones, bright tops, blue shadows and a glowing rim on the sun side.
